Day Centres
Age UK Hertfordshire's Day Centres offer a great place to socialise, meet new friends, take part in a variety of activities and enjoy a hot meal. Whichever day centre you attend, you'll receive a warm welcome from our team of friendly staff and volunteers who are on hand to welcome you.
Our day centres are at:
Rickmansworth - a specialist centre for older people with dementia. This centre provides care and support to older people with dementia. Referrals are through Hertfordshire Adult Care Services. Contact the centre manager on 01923 774328.
Watford - our Harebreaks centre in Watford provides a range of activities and a hot meal. Harebreaks is open Monday, Thursday and Friday 10am till 2pm. Contact the centre coordinator on 01923 235141.
Welwyn Garden City - Douglas Tilbe House in Hall Grove is open 5 days a week and provides a wide range of activities, services and information. There is a charity shop on-site, a hairdressing salon and a visiting chiropodist. Speakers and live entertainment are regular features at Douglas Tilbe House.
